Your Final Destination

Do you travel?

Do you visualize how your final destination will appear?

Do you think about the fun you’re going to have?

It’s especially easy for most of us to visualize our ideal vacation destination.

For some, it’s Disneyland or a sporting event.

Others prefer something more relaxing like an all-inclusive vacation in Los Cabos or Cancun – while still others prefer more historical European spots like Rome or Vienna.

I know people who plan their itinerary down to the most minute detail including tips!

They absolutely want to maximize their enjoyment and minimize any hassles, whatsoever.

Listen, I know people who plan their final destinations a YEAR in advance!

A Different Kind of Destination

Today, I want to ask you to visualize a different kind of destination.

Let’s start with this question:

“Where do you want to be a year from now with your body and health?”

Seriously think about this even beyond your physical being.

What’s your mental and emotional destination?   And, whatever it is, how do you plan to get there?

Give Yourself Time to “Visualize”

It’s a little more difficult to visualize these destinations compared to a vacation, right?

Especially the, “how do you plan to get there” part.

But, believe me, THIS is a worthwhile exercise.

Carve out some “quiet time” for yourself.

Close the blinds.

Close your eyes.

Now, try to visualize reaching your physical, mental and emotional destination exactly one year from today.

Visualize how you’ll LOOK.

Visualize how you’ll FEEL.

How will your clothes fit?

What will your mental outlook be?

Visualize the ideal “day-in-the-life” of your new destination.

What are you doing?  Who are you doing it with?

The Journey Toward Your New Destination

Here’s the funny thing about planning a destination for our health and wellbeing

We are ALWAYS on a journey.

That’s LIFE!

But, it’s good to have a destination in mind.  It provides a point of light –  a specific goal –  a benchmark.

So, start here with these questions:

  • Where do you want to be a year from now?
  • What do you want to be doing?
  • Who do you want to be doing it with?

Let’s Go Together

Once you have your destination in mind, I’ll be happy to offer you some tips on how to get there.  In fact, I will be happy to travel on this journey with you.

Just give me a call!
